Block Biome LLC was founded in 2022 with the mission of bringing creativity to construction changing the way we learn about and document builds.
“Love for the Trades” is our slogan because we aim to help tradesmen fulfill their highest potential through collaboration, design, education, and research.

Timeline
We were originally interested in finding a way to assign tangibility to NFTs hence the name "Block" representing blockchain and "Biome" representing an eco system. After crypto crashed in early 2022 we shifted focus towards the vast biome of blue collar work so we started designing information plaques for custom homes and farms additionally the contracting division was born (dba Dan the Handy Man) to fund future operations and cover living expenses. In 2024, we started performing trade opportunity research and decided to double down on the Bozeman Build Report turning content creation, education, and research into a core priority. Looking forward, we hope to make an impact on younger generation trade interest, pride in work, and improve overall wellbeing in the blue collar sector.
Owners Tale
Daniel is the owner operator who graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelors in Accounting, went to work for Figure Lending and Technologies as a customer success agent and analyst meanwhile starting Block Biome in Spring of 2022. Since quitting his job in Spring of 2023, he developed his own fast track trade curriculum called the “Montana Trade Certificate” with the goal of learning how to build a house in one year rotating different trades every few months covering trucking, concrete, plumbing, framing, siding, interior/finish work, welding, and general contracting. Daniel is excited about the future of block biome and is motivated to make a meaningful impact in the blue collar work space.
